This quarter’s product spotlight is the Mitel Streamline device. The Mitel Streamline can help to seamlessly transition from a legacy communications infrastructure to IP telephony. Using this new technology means that you know longer need a data drop for each IP phone, you can use your existing twisted pair cable (existing telephone cable).
Now that you can leverage your existing cable to use IP phones, you are no longer restricted to the limited range of digital phone models. There are a vast range of IP phones and accessories that you can now use without needing to run new cable.
Specs/Capabilities:
- 8, 24, and 48-port configuration options( (24 and 48 Port models have a 10/100 Mb management port)
- Provides 10 Mb Connection
- Ethernet and Power over a single pair of telephony-grade wire
- Over four times the reach of traditional data switches (1,200 feet)
Using this same technology we can also now leverage existing COAX to provide Ethernet and power to locations that do not have access to a data connection. This makes the migration from analog cameras to IP cameras more cost effective.
